Hi All
My first post here and after doing what I can to solve this I am in need of some advice!
I recently moved house into a Victorian property. The previous occupant left me some skirting to finish off but no skirting to finish it with. I'd say that the skirtings' not original period feature but most likely done in the last ten years judging by paper work and general appearance of what has been fitted so far.
Anyway, I need about 1.5m of skirting as per the profile attached in the pic. However, after much searching the usual DIY stores and every builders merchants on the local industrial estate, no one sells skirting with the correct torus profile. The only solution I have reached is the local joinery shop which said they could spindle mold it for around £65. Before I head back to my local joiners does anyone know of somewhere that would sell the right profile of skirting off the shelf? Alternatively, is there a 1/2" bearing guided router bit that would fit the bill? I unfortunately don't have a router table.
Apologies for the scrappy smart phone pic. Best I could do in the time I had!
Thanks in advance of any help, advice or ideas
Andy
