Hmm
After drilling only 40 odd inch and a half holes through 6 inch thick oak with an auger bit, I managed to shear the chuck holding screw off of my new Makita drill . Thinking I may be at fault I checked the spec and it says it can drill wood up to 76mm. When removing the bit with my torque wrench, it seemed to give at about 200Nm.
Was I being too adventurous or should I invoice Makita for the cost of extracting the screw  ?
