I remember someone mentioning in the past that if you get a 2ah battery for the Makita 18v compact drill range they feel/look more balanced (they are tiny) but the belt hook is too long so the drill doesn't stand properly when you put it down, it's a bit wobbly, I have had this very problem.

I ordered one of these from FFX and problem solved, it is a shorter belt hook but fits and works fine, no more wobbling.

£2.53 well spent, even cheaper if you get it without the screw which you don't really need as you can use the old one.

Hope someone finds this useful!
