Magnifying thingy

I really enjoy my time in the workshop. I had a 6" magnifying glass in a chrome ring frame and couldn't decide just what to do with it. After a lot of thought I decided that it would look nice on an oak mount that swivelled and this is the result

Made from an old English oak TV cabinet given to me by a friend wot got a haunted fish tank far too big for it.

Now for a ladies dressing table mirror in a similar style as a pressie I hope?

Really nice. But in sunny France, probably not a good idea to leave it out on a wooden surface focussing the sun on to combustible material 8)
