What to people use to protect cast iron saw tables. I saw a DVD with some chap from Record Power spraying a bandsaw table but I can't see anything on the Record Power site. What to people recommend ?

i use a bit of renaissance wax, because I have some rather than it being designed for that purpose.

liberon lubricating wax is often recommended for the purpose, and I think that there is a BoaShield product too.

Depends on how damp the environment is they're in. Renwax works well if it's not too damp, Lanolin for more aggressive protection.
