hi guys just got my latest saved copy of FWW, and it is a special on finishing.

i know that not all the info will travel, but it does offer some good advice on prepping as well as finishes.

I know for a fact that my knowledge of finishing can fit on the end of a pin... in 200pt letters so anything that can let me know something about the subject will be well received. Most of the time I trawl the net for info but you get 99 articles of junk before getting that 1 that's a gem.

Hi Paul,
That's good news for me too, like John I am always a touch nervous about the finishing process. I guess because I visualise my hard work going down the drain if I get it wrong. Joints, surfaces, & hardware can usually be fixed if wrong, but once the stain is on it's their for good, almost :lol:
