Is that really oak in the first image?

And I guess the coffee table is also of a fairly 'hollow' construction, in all places around the drawer opening?
 
Wow that is a lot of output. They have a really modern edge to the design. How did you go about the veneering and the jointing on the curved unit?
Its a shame the photos are a little fuzzy as it is hard to pick out some of the grain which must be lovely.

Yeah the coffee table is 1/4 cut oak veneer and as u guessed is a hollow construction.

I veneered all the parts flat and curved in a bag press, shooting the veneers with a jig. Then the carcase a is joined using dominos.
