To smile when you see an employee, whom is a devious bully, get told to clear his desk and escorted off site? :D

Yes.

You should be stood at the exit ironically clappinhg him out

Whilst awaiting your own suspension for suspected bullying. That's how it works in offices nowadays - speaking from experience.

Should've run and tw**ed him, they can't sack you for belting another employee cos now he's a nobody.

Today has been great. First day without the knob head and the general atmosphere was noticeably better.

Was he sacked for his bullying?
He is currently suspended. People are keeping very tight lipped so far but what has brought it to a head is theft. Police are involved.

Keeping tight lipped is what allowed him to be a bully in the first place.

I am nearing retirement and have nothing to loose, so I see it as my duty to my younger more vunerable colleagues to challenge any boorish behaviour.

and its great fun too

I have done so myself. After only two weeks of him starting work he threatened me. He's a 6ft2 doorman so thinks he can do as he pleases. He didn't like it when i wouldn't back down. He said he'd get me sacked to which I laughed and told him he'd go well before me.

Management were informed (we have children here so we have a duty of care) but they ignored it.

I warned them again when he threatened someone else.

I notified them of theft with with evidence.

He's had two female staff crying.

I think my boss was scared to confront him. I kept emails of all correspondence.

Last week a couple of grands worth of stuff went so finally someone has taken action. I've been asked to give statements. I've also been asked by my boss to keep him out of it, no chance. Told him if he'd dealt with this at the first instance non of this would have happened.

Is your boss a man or a mouse? Size aside has he forgotten one of the reasons he gets a bigger paycheck each month is because dealing with this sort of thing is part of his job? Maybe you should remind him of this if he gets shirty with you.

I'd also not spare the managers blushes in any reports you make - if you think that the behaviour of this bully guy is a result of him thinking he is untouchable and escalated things with the 2 ladies and the theft, then that is on the managers head, and I'd make that VERY clear.

If he doesn't want the responsibility, he'll soon find the "leave me out of it" will be "please leave the premises, you're sacked".

I really really really can't stand shirking from those who are paid to deal with things like this, I had it in my last job which is why I left under "mutal agreement" - code for sacked for insubordination, directors don't like to be chewed out by counterstaff because they are ducking irate customers over issues above my powers to solve and leaving me to hold the pile of s***.

Similarly a good friend of mine recently had to call in the union at her place of work because the manager kept getting hers (and others) pay details wrong, and not just a few times - pretty much every month for 6-8 months, the worst case was leaving her short by 60% of her normal monthly wage. His last reply after yet another complaint from her was "you've got a boyfriend - get him to help you pay the rent" which frankly was the last straw. I told her she pays union dues for a reason, so she called in the union, found another job within 4 days (for herself and two other kitchenstaff, plus she's head chef, so GL losing her) and gave notice, using her accrued holiday instead of working her notice.

Also it turns out he was already on report for other management misdemeanors, so I'd have loved to have been there when she gave him that lot 5 minutes before she finished her last shift (last shift from her point of view, the manager and other staff had no clue - some will have it hard which is regrettable but she was backed into a corner), chances of him weathering that s***storm are nil.

@nolegs It would have been nice to have twatted him, but then he'd have claims of an assualt charge and might then be able to use that as a "I was being bullied too" in a counterclaim against the company. (so just find out where he lives and do it a different way *evil*).

Definitely the latter!

I fully intend to lay bare all truths as i do believe his reluctance to deal with him has had a large part to play. Hence why i kept all correspondence.
