I've been looking around lately for a better way to fix kitchen carcases (or any fitted furniture for that matter).
I came across a product called space plugs, and duly requested a sample.
Well, what can I say?. I truly think this is a great idea, and a great product which simplifies the process no end.
The company has truly impressed me. So much so I just had to share it here.
Expect to see these all over the place soon.
I can see me using them on a great deal of my fitted furniture from now on.
I have had an email exchange with the inventor and he too is a very nice man.
All in all I wish him and his company great success.
If you get a chance, check out the space plugs. They really are great.

By the way, I have no association with the company, just very impressed with the product and customer service.

All the best.

Adam.

Hmmmmm. He's obviously seen some of my dad's kitchens from about 20 years ago. Only difference being my dad used aluminium and made them himself.

Damn it! I told him to patent the idea years ago

And I notice on the video, he didn't bother to countersink

Good idea - look very handy for all sorts of fitted furniture.

Thanks for posting.

Cheers

Karl

Neat. I currently use 15mm copper tube to do the same thing (almost). Maybe this is a cheaper option!?

Great idea and hats off to him for spotting the new potential in an object already in use in every kitchen. =D>
Its a scaled down version of an adjustable cabinet leg
Talk about staring you in the face

Great stuff, thanks for the link, I'll be ordering some soon.....why didn't I think of that?!!!!!

Ordered some free samples and they arrived double quick along with a drill bit.
Brilliant service, he deserves to do well
