Imperial Threaded Coupling Nuts and threaded bar or rod

Hello,

Would anyone know where I could purchase 3/4" x 10 tpi coupling / connector nuts as well as threaded bar or rod? I have done the usual google search and have found threaded nuts & bar but am struggling with the connector nuts. short of ordering from the USA with astronomical shipping costs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What you’re after is 3/4 x 10 BSW I think, Americans typically use 3/4 x 16 UNC.

Quick google search brings up plenty of options for studs and couplings.

3/4 x 16 is UNF, Both 3/4 UNC and BSW are 10 TPI but the thread angles are 60 and 55 degree respectively
Based on the likely source of the existing threads, choose whitworth (UK) or UNC (USA)
Generally the threads are poorly cut and can be interchangeable. Get the ones that are easiest and if the worst come to the worst, buy a tap or die as needed to get the threads to behave.

Or buy a tap and take whatever hex stock you can find and drill and tap it to suit.
