A few years back I bought some douglas fir at the National Trust Ickworth craft show. That show was cancelled in 2020 and never returned, but they are still doing their wood sale. Its stuff that has been felled on the extensive estate. Some of it seasoned, and they were helpful and would cut to length - my 9 ft board was cut into 2 so I could get it into the car. No idea if they are still doing that. As far as I recall most of it was at least partially seasoned - cut maybe 1 or 2 years before.
