I got a New Lathe

Just picked up a Record CL3, with record stand and bowl attachment,
2 year old £300 for the lot.
Awesome machine in comparison to my axminster awsl hobby lathe that I have used for the past 6 months.
will be selling the axminster lathe & chuck and accessories , but cannot do so on this site yet coz I am a newbie,
will be putting it on gumtree tomorrow.

Good buy. This is the type I'm aiming for when it is time to upgrade. I feel I still have a way to go before I am good enough to merit an upgrade at present.

I have a CL3 and I highly recommend it. I've upgraded to CL4 spec. with a Haydock variable speed kit and a bowl attachment. Great!

Just read market place guidelines
You need 20 posts to use the market place.
Will have to wait for another 10 posts.
No rush to sell , may keep the AX AWSL as a back up.
