I bought a 23" Craftsman

I have found a Sears Craftsman 23" saw fir 60euro. Obviously it needs a complete overhaul.
Are these machines ok and would you compare it to Hegner?

Short answer jackal: "I dunno". Clearly it looks dirty so will need cleaning up and most probably a good internal lubrication (looks like it's been stored in a farmer's barn for a few years)!

But at the very least, after cleaning/lubricating and when fitted with with a decent blade it should cut wood. But without seeing it in the flesh I DOUBT it's in the Hegner class though.

It's All clean now after a complete strip down. Funny it was in a French barn!! It cuts fine Fun with the saw
