I'm looking to buy this compressor but I'm quite confused about the different connector standards. I believe this one comes with a female Euro quick connect.

Anyway this compressor doesn't come with a pressure regulator so I need to buy one that fits, has a water trap and a gauge. Can anyone recommend one on Amazon that will fit in the £15-20 range?
I'm also looking for one of those cheap 5 in 1 accessory kits that are about the same price. I think they all come with a 1/4" BSP connector.
So ideally the pressure regulator would have a male Euro Q/C input and a female 1/4" BSP output connector?.. failing that an adapter at one of the ends.
Is this correct and can anyone point me to the correct products I'd needs for a full, cheap solution?

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post specific links to Amazon so, I'll not until someone tells me otherwise.

Thanks.

8l is pretty small, what are you aiming to use it for?

Machine mart do the pcl range, though not the cheapest supplier you can sort of visually go through the connectors you need.
If I remember right the pcl high flow are compatible with the euro ones ( check ).
I have several regulators around the workshop, some ebay ones and some machine mart, they appear to be the same.
Use lots of ptfe tape on all threads.

I use these ones. They are from different places but appear mostly identical.

I've found this on Amazon (still don't know if we can post links here)
But the description says it's "Inlet/outlet port: ½” BSP, Bowl capacity 45cm2 (automatic drain)"
Which means it wont attach to the female Euro connector on my compressor right?

You can probably just unscrew whatever fitting is in the compressor and ignore it.
Find out what thread is actually coming out of the tank and just start from that point. So you will likely need a 1/2 inch or1/4 inch bsp female quick connector with a male thread suitable for the tank.

like this but dont pay 18 quid for one !

Once you have this set up on the compressor anything else you want can be clipped in.
Most air tools just have a threaded hole where you can attach a male quick connect for whatever size you decide to use. Pcl standard/ xf / euro. Just pick one and stick with it for everything.

I'm planning on getting these adapters which might contain what you mention and more?

And this kit:

Yes I know they are cheap rubbish. I'll replace those once I know what I'm doing etc.

If anyone in the know can check these would all work with the compressor as I think they should?

Which regulator did you end up buying? Any issues at all?

I may be in the market for a small compressor soon and I'm torn between the 8 ltr Hyundai and the 24 ltr versions. The smaller model makes much more sense due to my very limited shed space, the 24 ltr comes with a pressure regulator fitted though and a slightly higher CFM rating.

I'd likely be fine with the 8 ltr compressor, it's main uses would be just blowing away dust etc and I'd like to get one of the 18g Silverline air nailers that Peter Millard has shown in his video. I don't 'think' I'd have other uses at this point, but you never know. :)
