Hi I have looked in to worm drives and I want one but as you know U S A is the only place you can get one not to worried about cost but the diffrance in the power supply to the states if you have one do they work here in the Uk

I bought a second hand Skil HD77 wormdrive a couple of years ago and I use it most days. It's phenomenally powerful - last week I ripped some 200 year old oak with a rather blunt 24-tooth blade (more suited for crosscutting) and the motor hardly slowed at all. Try that with a conventional saw.

US tools run perfectly well on a 110V transformer.
