I use Excel for my purchases and bankings. Occasionally I want to find an invoice. I know the name of the supplier but end up scrolling for ages to find it. Without getting into the realms of Quantum Mechanics, is there a quick way to search for Johnson's sharpening jigs etc?

If you press Ctrl+F it will bring up a find box. Type in your search. It will cycle through each one it finds so click next until its the invoice you want.

EDIT: If you want a more permanent way, you could create a drop down list. Pretty simple. A tutorial is here. https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...own-list-7693307a-59ef-400a-b769-c5402dce407b

And a video on making lists that auto update should you wish to add more companies, clients or whatever.

If you get stuck, just shout.
