Hi all.
A friend sent me this link and I must say, I am surprised at the quality of what is a basic build.
I was particularly impressed with the lower arm bearing guides and the rear tension clamp idea which I've not seen before.
It just goes to show that with a little ingenuity, anything is possible.

It's very ingenious and nicely made but is only really useful for roughish work like a sort of motorised coping saw, looking at how the blade goes out of parallel it would not be much use for detailed fretwork but top marks for ingenuity!
