Why not buy some big old proper english iron then?

I'd love to but.....

It can be a bit pricey!
It's mostly 3-phase

I have looked at second hand gear but generally I've found that if I can afford it, it requires a lot more repairing than I know how to do!

The Xcalibur 804 sounds very interesting and the price is a lot better than I thought. The thing is I can't find much information about it. Does anyone have any pics or know of a review?
