Help - Need a finish for a cot bed in american white oak

Hi guys , Im near completion on a cot bed Im making for my daughter and just started panicing about the finish. Do you think I can oil it? or is that not safe for babys?

what do you think is safe and will bring out the beauty of the white oak?

The only one I can think of is Liberon's Finishing Oil - its been tested and according to their literature is EN71 Part 3 Approved - Safe for toys.

The relevant test is indeed EN-71, if the product has passed this test it is safe for such use.
