Help Identify These Woods

Hi guys,

I am new to woodworking and i have been given some hardwood ofcuts from a friend and i need help identifying them.

I think photo 1 and photo 2 is walnut?

Photo 3 and 4 I don't think are Oak,looks a bit like Sapele to me ,I think you're right with the Walnut though.

I use a lot of american black walnut and that is spot on.
dont use oak, cant comment.

That last one is a little odd to me, It looks like Oak whilst at the same time not quite looking like Oak but as Freddy said, might just be a quick-grown piece that makes it look a bit strange rather than being a piece of Sweet Chestnut or whatnot.
