23 sheets of plasterboard and 5 rolls of insulation were delivered this afternoon for the workshop ceiling.

I've only managed to get 3 sheets up so far. I have to take the lights down and re-fix them as I go which is a bit of a pain. I've quickly learnt that the job ideally needs two people. The first sheet was easy and went up in minutes as I rested it on the timber rack. The second sheet however took awhile and quite a few backbreaking attempts before I managed to get it fixed in place.

I had a tea break and came up with a solution, I knocked together a couple of brackets to act as a second pair of hands. With the brackets in place the third sheet went up easily and just as quick as the first :)

3 up, just another 20 to go  :(

I did the same in my shed. Took the lights down, added the insulation and plasterboard. A right struggle on my own. But now its finished and a lot warmer. PITA, I know, but well worth the effort.

Well worth doing, Charley!
You might curse as you fit it but it will be worth it in the winter.
Cheers
Philly :D
