Hi has anybody made/turned a wooden terramundi pot, if so how did or would you go about it? my thoughts is that you make the finial on the top threaded for removal and emptying, or a similar idea on the other end/base kind of like the old salt and pepper bungs, anyway any thoughts advice would be great, not sure when i would turn it as I have still a long to do list, cheers

Colin,
I would go with the salt and pepper idea, either with a large rubber bung or a wooden insert made to a snug fit, this way you can have a nice flowing design on the top with no step or line where the stopper would push/screw on.
Of course if you were making a traditional one you could glue the base in so it needs to be broken onece filled (although this would be a shame!)
Can we have a WIP?
Regards Chris.
