Hanger bolt

Does anyone know where to get them? I did get a few from Screwfix sometime ago, but they are tiny. I need around 1/4" or 5/16 size.
I made a small parts clamp from Woodsmith's tips but the hanger bolt is a problem, I used a titchy one, but need a stronger one. They don't seem popular.

Try searching for wood-to-metal dowel screw or just dowel screw.

Thanks Jake for the quick reply and info. What a difference a name makes, Hanger bolt is the American term. I managed to find many suppliers and placed an order, probem solved. Thanks again
