Handplane setup

I've just bought a second hand Stanley hand plane no.4.

Can anyone show me a good tutorial how to set it up and how to use it?

There are enough articles in the internet to get you confused...
Just google "hand plane tuning" or "hand plane fettling"; or look for the same in You Tube
Some of them are good, some not so good, I wouldn't dare say "this is the one"... most focus on the same principles.
