Hi all,
A recent post on Nobex mitre saws prompted this question.
Has anyone tried replacing their old mitre saw blades with 'third party' blades? I have a mitre saw, not Nobex though, and I am having to push the saw now rather than let it do the work, so I guess the blade needs changing. On ebay there are Faithfull, Peugeot, Tyzack etc. Can anyone recommend a make to buy, or a make to avoid?

It has very fine teeth, about 18 tpi, possibly 24 tpi so I think it might be difficult. Also if I get it wrong and the blade drifts to one side then it would defeat the idea of a mitre saw.
Has anyone else tried sharpening these blades? If so, were you successful, or is it not worth the hassle?
