Hi title sounds like some sort of clubbing craze lol. I've got a cheap generator I got for free and when I start it it moves itself across the floor with vibrations has anyone had this and know a way to stop it thanks

I think you know why you got it for free.

Check the fuel tank and see if its loose. then just push and pull everything else to see if bolts are missing or undone.
Then put some heavy duty rubber pads under it.
If it still bounces then give it away.

I've sorted it now it running nice just need to sort out the power as it powers low power items but not my angle grinder

angle grinders use a lot of power.
Could be as much as 10 amps.
Whats the rating on your generator?
