my photoshop has died tonight and i would like to get a couple of pics on the net if possible, what free program will let me resize and minimise the kb for the web, thank you..

Thanks guys, the online picture sizer is a handy gadet and will be added to my bookmarks, not tried gimp yet but hopefully got a friend with a copy popping round tomorrow..

Download & install Image Resizer.

Select one or more images, right click & select 'Resize Pictures'
Choose size from the window that opens.

Make sure the box 'Replace the Originals' is empty (it is by default).

For a standalone, you could also try Fotosizer at http://www.fotosizer.com/
Works fine for resizing batches of pics. The standard version from the website is a free download.
