Hello,
Can anyone please help me to locate an instruction handbook for my Fox 28-180 Bandsaw?
My problem is knowing how to get the blade to run true.
Regards Roger.

DONT fiddle with the bottom wheel!

Truing up is done by tilting the top wheel with the large bolt that sticks out the back.
With power off spin the wheel by hand as you slowly alter the knob. When its running true, adjust the top tension knob slowly till you can only just twist the blade about 45 degrees with your fingers.

Once its tight and true, shut the doors and start it up just for a half second. If the blade doesnt fall off or go bang, youre good to go. :D

Does yours look like this one?
Can't help with any paperwork, mine came without. But it did need a lot of work to get it usable.
A lot of metal had to be filed from the frame to get the bottom guides in the correct position, and a bit less for the top.
Fitted with a Tuffsaws blade, this machine, is better than the Record equivalent I had at the time.
Try removing all the guides, then see how the blade tracks.
