I am considering using a linoleum product on a project which I plan to vacuum press. Forbo have an adhesive (414) but at a cost of some £50 by the time it is delivered. I wonder if anyone has had a successful experience with a general purpose PVA? Or perhaps something less costly than Forbo's recommendation?

I have used that lino, but it was so long ago that I've forgotten glue what I used!
I can tell you for sure that it was either contact cement or PVA, and it was definitely not Forbo glue. I saw the desk a couple of months ago and it was still perfect>

BTW, if I was doing it today I would use T4 PVA and a vac press
