Fixings and captive nuts

Hi all

In the process of trying to fit an Axminster aftermarket fence to a Scheppach TISA 5 tin top I am looking for either 8mm square nuts that are 16mm across flats or 5/16 UNC square nuts that are I believe are mostly 16mm AF, most 8mm nuts are only 13mm AF. They fit into the slot in the ali guide rail so as it can be attached to an ali angle I have fitted to this saw table.

Anyone any idea where I can source some, and if UNC then some lobed knobs with 25 to 30mm male threads?

If only they had used std profile ali extrusions then the slot nuts are readily available!!

I don't know if this will solve your problem, but I sell flange nuts and female M6 knobs. The flange nuts are 14mm wide but 22mm long, so there is no way they will turn in your track. They are M6, so with some standard studding (which I don't sell but it's available at any DIY shop) and you have your sliding nut.
