first arbortec bowl

ordered one at harrogate the other week. arrived in 4 days, very good service.

first play with it produced this

no idea what the wood is, just burnt off the fluffy bits, bit of sanding and then a wax mix and buff.

I liked the know hole that appeared so kept it in!

That looks rather good. A nice underlying form with some interesting texturing, colouring and an appropriate finish.

I like it.

I bring mine back for US - saves the VAT.
Go for holiday and order before you go and have them delivered to the US holiday address while you are there - US co would not deal with a UK address.
