I have been quite on the turning side of things as I have been working on this little model. Measures 31" X 7" X 7 1/2" and with the ladder extended 36" tall

Sometimes I do stop and even then when I go to bed I fall asleep thinking at the next stage of a build like this. Need to prepare for a turning demo at the weekend tools to sharpen and wood to be dug out luckily I know what I am going to do.

Know what you mean about the mental gyrations about the next stage, often have to resist a trip to check something at an ungodly hour.

Can't plan that far ahead as the weekend at the moment, so many tasks to be fitted in any attempt at planning is more of a fire management exercise.
Will be glad when I can get to spin a few bits of wood suitable for show and tell.

The best days weather we've had for weeks, ideal to try and catch up with the outside plot organisation and guess what, spent most of the day belting up and down a motorway with a last minute "I'm being sociable" hat on.

Know that feeling I need to get and sort some of the garden out. But at least I will be free after the weekend to start on some more turning some for the club competition.
