I have taken off some of the wood that surrounds my inside doors as the plaster was looking a bit tatty.
I painted the strips of wood then put them back but now there is a long gap on one strip of wood to the wall.
I was thinking is there a cartridge of filler that I can buy, a bit like the cartridge you put round the bath edge but plaster, as a small seem would do the job.

[quoteDo you mean the architrave round the door? If so I would fill the gap with decorators caulk. Comes in cartridges and can be painted.][/quote]

Thanks your spot on, always wondered what decorators chalk was.
Thanks again Reg

+1 for decorators caulk.
Brush, or blow out any dust or loose crud.
"Tosh" a good amount in the gap, making sure it sticks after masking any areas with masking tape. and clean up carefully with a decorators knife.
Give it time to dry well, if it's thick, It will shrink, but the second "tosh" will usually be flat and will take a good paint job well in finishing
Rodders.
