Depends what you are planning on buying, I've spent about £3,500 on Festool stuff recently from either FFX or N&B (their prices are the most competitive) but not had so much as a penny knocked off their website prices.

Be careful though it's a slippery slope, I started with a DF500 Domino and then progressed to a

DF700XLwith all systainers and cutters
TS-55 EBQ with Tracks etc
Rotex RO125
Kapex KS120
DTS 400
Rotex RO90
OF 1400 EBQ

Don't think that a single purchase will be the end of it.

You could call FFX and N&B give them a list of what you are looking for and ask for their best prices, you don't know until you try.

Warren at Toolfest has a great reputation amongst the trade for great customer service, but I have always found most of their prices way above the others mentioned above.

Occasionally you may get special offers from other suppliers, when I bought my DF500 D&M Tools were the cheapest by far, a week or two later and they were one of the dearest. Anglia Tools has a special on at the moment for systainer rollers at a good price (actually on back order but they are honouring their sale price), you just need to keep a good look out or have a good network of like minded souls (FOG).

Good luck.

I guess is a slippery slope

axminster seem to be comparable at the moment
i may find local rep and see if i can get some vouchers

not looking to spend as much as u..luckily

Steve

the local rep used to give you a voucher if they came to demonstrate, but it was for a local stockist. I found that i could get a much better deal online. Nuts and Bolts were cheapest when i bought my domino, and the service was spot on.

I do feel sorry for tool (and festool dealers), it's a very competitive market and not much bargains going around nowadays.

Try talking to slingers1858, they are the guys who got me down the slippery green slope. N&b and toolfest are also great dealers with plenty of help and advice.
