Just been informed by my daughter-in-law that W.M. McMaster in Belfast is closing after 122 years in business.

That's a shame, such history too with the building of the Titanic and the H & W workers. Bought some of my first tools there a looong time ago. Great wee shop, so much in it. Not much left in the city with Jamison & Green gone as well.

I lived and worked in Belfast for a couple of years, I used them a few times, excellent shop.

Sheesh...bought my first tools (correction,first not hand-me-downs) there in September 1981...later went on to teach the son of the owner. Tragic family history during The Troubles.
