ELU planer thicknesser

I have just aquired an Elu EPT 1161 planer thicknesser, it works ok on top bed at planing but doesn't pull wood through in thicknesser mode. I wonder if anybody has an instruction book or PDF or any suggestions, the rollers do seem a little worn.

I had one of these when sold as a DeWalt and found it a nice machine. I seem to recall [possibly wrongly as it was 15yrs ago] you had to engage the thicknesser feed rollers with a lever on the motor side of the unit. I do remember it had a bit of an appetite for the vulcanised feed rollers. These were easy to replace and the tension on the roller bearing blocks simple to adjust.

(Sorry if this is grandmothers and eggs) Have you waxed the lower table? This can make an amazing difference.

Does anybody know the procedure for setting in / out tables level and knives on a Elu ept1161 planer, I cant seem to find a manual on the Web.
