My dad is upgrading some of the kit in his garage so we're selling his drill and lathe. The drill is an elliott no.1. It's 3 phase but it would be an easy motor swap for a single phase one. It doesn't have a return spring on the quill - I bought a replacement but metric ones don't fit (surprisingly!)

Long bed and gearbox, oh how I wish I had those on my lathe :(
You should see what he's upgrading to! I'll stick some pics on my metalwork and machines thread when we do the move. Current thinking is that it's going to have to involve a telehandler!

Hi,
I'm interested in the drill. I'm new to this forum and can't see where to send you a message...
Cheers,

Think you have to have a certain number of posts to be able to PM someone.

I've found a suitable motor and I'm converting it to single phase now as no-one has bought it yet!
