EB PKF 255 Help

I have just bought a used Elektra Beckum Panel and require some advice from anyone who owns one.

The side extension table was never fitted by the previous owner and when i have tried to fit it, it sit approx 3mm lower than the main table? i was only given 3 shims with the saw and have tried to put one under each side but it still too low!
can any owners please check how many shims they have had to use or have i done something wrong?
