Well I have just got back from a week in the Derbyshire Dales hence why I have been a bit quiet over the last few days (Wife banned laptop/Tablet/Iphone etc!)
Anyway I got the distinct feeling someone was trying to tell us something before we left
Firstly the fuel crisis
Then the snow in the Midlands
But I never expected I would be digging myself out of 3' deep snowdrifts just up the road from where we were camping
This was an A road just outside Castleton!
Anyway I must admit spent time helping stranded motorists and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it never having experienced snow like this.
But my trusty 24 year old land rover didn't miss a beat.
