Back to work today, no scrolling for a few days

Just thought I would share this one.

An eagles head, cut in Elm (nice wood to work with) with oil finish.

That looks great, however it would be easier to see if a sheet of white paper was placed underneath.

That's really effective, I like the way it's almost a circle. There's a bit of an optical illusion going on as it when you move away from the monitor it really pops out.

Is there a pattern freely available for the eagle? I've got a pattern for one I intended cutting but I much prefer yours, mostly because it looks like it might be easier to cut for an amateur.

If anyone wants a nice eagle head pattern I have one but I can't post it as I don't know its origin. It was a small line drawing that I got from google images and I made into a vector graphic so it can be scaled to any size. Anyone interested, PM me with your email address.
