Hi All

I am in the final stages of my workshop build, and will hopefully have the electrics checked and connected up tomorrow (!).

The next stage is to put in the dust extraction system. I have purchased a Record DX5000 extractor off the bay and was looking for some ideas to connect it to a table saw, planer/thicknesser and chop saw (currently).

I was wondering if any members with plumbed in systems could post or PM a few pictures of their systems. I am particularly interested in the feed into the extractor from the fixed pipework, position of blast gates etc, and the rational for that positioning.

Any assistance would be gratefully received. :)

Thanks

Hi Ben, Martin has the same extractor as you and you might pick up some tips from his system.

Or this link to the same system may even be better as I think that there might more photo's and imformation.
