Draper Tool Rest

Looking for advice

I have just bought a Draper WTL95 and trying to find a short tool rest (100 or 150mm), I have tried Axminster and few other places all have a stem that is just fraction too wide

Anyone know of where I can find tool rest to fit or a make that is compatible?

You might get an answer quicker if you tell us the diameter of the post.

The stem is 2.45 cm

The stem that did not fit was 1" dia

If it is the same as the wtl 100 then it is 7/8"

Well it sounds more like a 25mm tool rest stem to me.

Robert Sorby's modular toolrest would be a good option - They sell 25mm stems.

As an ex owner of a Draper WTL95 I can confirm that the stem/post is 25mm.

Not having the tools to measure round bars accurately enough, I ended up taking the banjo over to Peter Hemsley at his Didcot home from where he ran The Toolpost (http://www.toolpost.co.uk/) before his present premises.
