Hi Guys,
I'm a long term lurker, and a new joiner
First of all, a quick intro to me:
My name's Sam, I'm 15, and I've been into woodworking for 3years.
I have been allocated just over half the family shed, which is concrete built and has power (sockets and fluorescent tube)
This works fine for me.
I also have free run of the garage (attached to shed) to use when I like, but this has to be cleared at night when the car gets priority
My tools include:
Router+Table
Compound Mitre Saw
Drill
Nailer
Jigsaw
Sander
+ Lots of Hand tools
Anyway, that's enough about me - onto the work!
I am in the process of trying to design a dovetail jig for the router table (similar to the gifkin one) but having spent the day using Sketchup, I have throroughly confused myself as to what a dovetail even looks like!!
I would be very thankful if you could look at the image below and tell me if this is right. If it is, then I shall go ahead and design+make the jig for it.
Thanks,
Sam
