I can get some coloured lights to embed in a decorative window I am making for a play , they would need to be battery powered if poss and quite small.

You could try here http://www.maplin.co.uk/search?criteria ... hts&page=1 if there not what your looking for search maplin site for LED Lights, it is not to difficult to make your own and any member of staff at Maplin's would tell you exactly what you need, they are very helpfull.
