At 680M3/hr it is on the edge of being effective enough for a Planer thicknesser, I would go for something at least double that extraction figure to be sure of extracting everything, its a pain to keep having to stop planing or thickening turn off the machine and clear chips out of the chute, I use one of these: http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-ho ... tor-501264 it is £100.00 more, but three times more efficient.
