Someone got a bargain there. Fortunately, I don't have space for another Diamond; if I had, I'd be feeling rather disappointed at missing out.

You should have some fun with that, David . It looks like another bargain.

There's a forum for Diamond owners here which is run by Paul Woodward, the son of the Diamond founder. It doesn't see much traffic but both Paul and Doug visit fairly frequently, so if you've got any questions about your new saws you'll be able to get answers straight from the horse's mouth. Doug is very proud of his saws and seems to find it difficult to believe that one of his saws could show signs of wear and tear even after 10 years of heavy use. As a result, the service you'll get from him is second to none, even with an old second hand machine.

Many thanks. The Diamond forum looks very interesting - like this one really - so hopefully will get lots of useful tips when I have collected the saw.
