Pleased to report in with our latest news re our visit to
Oz.
Janet now making good progress (carries two cups of tea and not using her stick) and at the present time I am trying to persuade the lady to try a few jumps!!!!!!!!
The latest news is that we are now settled in a granny flat which was kindly offered to us by a patient who was in an adjoining bed in the same ward as Janet.
Our holiday plans have naturally changed since the unfortunate accident and we are staying in Sydney for the foreseeable future. In the meantime I am doing some voluntary driving for a medical research institute located in Sydney. It could work out interesting and rewarding to both of us because it involves collecting patients from their homes around Sydney & NSW.
I have managed to locate a public library close to our residence hence able to enter this forum using free public access on their internet connection.
