We had that much in 10 minutes this morning.

It is pretty horrible here tbh, I cleared about 6" off the drive yesterday morning and almost as much again mid afternoon, more snow and strong winds and the damn stuff has drifted quite badly in places.
My 5 year old granddaughter loves it, off school, first deep snow in her life and a sledge, what more could a child wish for?

Pic after 1st clearing yesterday morning, other 2 from front and back windows during a break in the blizzard today.

EDIT:
The dog wasn't keen on being chucked out for a pee. #-o She's a labrador with long legs btw.

No flights out of East Midlands airport so we are stuck in the canaries.
It's hot and the cold beer fund is running low

Let out of work at 3:00 and it’s closed tomorrow!

I'm a binman in Durham, tried to empty bins yesterday in deep snow, slipped over, struggled to pull bins through drifted snow then the motor slid sideways into a car, then got called back and sent home.
Still get some people complaining their bins have not been emptied

Well to be fair, they probably had the day off from work and complaining gave them something to do.

It's a bit more interesting here in Worcestershire now, took me two hours to do the 22 miles back from work this evening and there's some 2-3 foot drifts in the roads and around the house (including against my front door). Positively mild though now, only minus 3 degrees after last night's minus 8. :)

It's been decided we will not open our shop in Wolverhampton today, really disappointed, was expecting a parcel from Workshop Heaven
