Copy and paste on iPad ?

Is it possible, I copied a page to help a question posed on here, but I can't find a paste button to leave the link...

Steve just hold your finger or stylus down on the screen and a circle should appear, take flour finger or stylus off and you should be left with a black box divided into 3, from the left they should say Select, Select all and Paste.

Just to add - if you already have something copied/cut, then you can just double-tap in any text entry box to bring up the "paste" option.
