Clamping mitre gauge!!

Has anyone made/adapted their mitre gauge to allow clamping the workpiece?
..similar to MLCS 9456 Clamping Miter Gauge

Never found the need to be honest. If at some stage Arthur itis sets in and my grip is not so good it might be an idea.
